Big Surf at The Green

Tiree usually requires some wind to bring the waves, but every now and then a distant Atlantic storm pushes in a big swell without warning. Flat water and no wind - 24 hours of rolling surf - then calm again. The houses in the background are at The Green on the north-west corner of the island.
