Gott Bay and Beinn Hough

Gott Bay and Beinn Hough

At the north end of Gott Bay there is a beautiful group of renovated cottages built in the traditional Hebridean style with walls around 2 feet thick.. Originally the roofs would have been thatched, and a number on the island still are, but the ones here have black pitch roofs. The large building across the bay on the left is the Tiree Lodge Hotel, one of two hotels on the island and the one most favoured by windsurfers. The Kirkapol Guest House is the converted church on the right.
